Sorry for the delay in posting pictures. We relied on family to take most of them so I am still waiting for those emails to get to me (hint-family members) anyways. So Monday I went to my last doctor's appointment and found that my blood pressure had increased dramatically, there was protein in my urine, and I had gained 6lbs of water weight in a week. My doc then decided we shouldn't wait until Thursday to do the c-section and sent me to the hospital to have Gianna. I was a little in shock but mostly prepared as we got ready to go to the hospital to have her. Everything seemed very relaxed this time around as I knew what was to come.
Gianna Rhys (pronounced Reese) Bellenghi was born on April 6th, 2009 at 4:46 pm. She weighed a whopping 9lbs 9oz (missing Luca's birth weight by an ounce) she was 19.50 inches short :) Luca was 19.75. She came out screaming and very healthy.
I was very surprised and thankfully she took right to breast feeding and has been an awesome baby since the moment I saw her. She sleeps A LOT thankfully and we have been getting good sleep so that is a plus. She is a chunky monkey and we find ourselves looking at pictures and laughing at those cheeks! Luca seems to be adjusting normally. He wasn't a huge fan of the hospital but he acknowledged Gianna and told her happy birthday and said she was so cute but he didn't care to touch or kiss her. We came home this afternoon so we are adjusting to a family of 4. While being at home he still has yet to go around her which is totally fine by me. We are just going to let him do his thing and go at his own pace.

She is beautiful...good job! :)
What a sweetheart she is! Congrats! Isn't it crazy how easy breastfeeding is the 2nd time around? Austin took perfectly the first time also...not sure if it was cause I actually knew what I was doing or he was just perfect! Hope things continue to go smoothly for you all! Love the name too, especially the middle name and how you spelled it! :)
Tami,
I'm glad everything is going smoothly. Congrats on everything. You are so blessed! I'm glad to hear that it is all running smoothly this second time around. You never knew there was this much more love in your heart! Take care and we can't wait to meet her and see Luca again!

CONGRATS to your beautiful fam of 4! She is just so precious, I can't wait to munch on those cheeks! I'm glad to hear that everything is going great and you are getting your sleep. Luca is going to be a great big brother. I can't wait for us to get our little kiddos together. Love and miss you and take care of yourself :)
Congratulations! What a beautiful baby girl!
We will be there in May, we should try and get together.
