4th of July

We spent the 4th with the Bellenghi's at the beach house and also got to celebrate Connor and Kensi's birthdays (Nephew and Niece) The weekend didn't start off so well as Gia had a hard time sleeping and that resulted in some LONG nights and CRANKY days for her! Luckily she eventually adjusted and we were able to enjoy our time there. She is such a nut these days....she says si si for yes (I know she is brilliant already bilingual right?) She is freakishly strong some times knocking Luca over and fighting me for stuff. She is stubborn as all can be if you tell her know she grabs whatever is closest to her and throws it while turning bright red and flexing (luca starting flexing at this time but it wasn't in a fit of rage) she is climbing on EVERYTHING at the beach I looked over and she was crawling up on the coffee table! She amazes me everyday! Luca is also in a fun/annoying stage. We are STILL potty training as we are easing him off the miralax cleanse he has been on. He is doing well and stays dry most of the day so I think we are on our way there (thankfully, he starts school in the fall!) If you tell him no he usually melts down and cries while stomping his feet (the annoying party) His imagination is beyond insane, he enjoys mimicking whatever is on tv which is usually funny but sometimes not appropriate :) He is an EXTREMELY picky eater but LOVES his sweets (of course) He is still having a hard time with me working which is heart breaking but we are getting through it. IN SAD NEWS our awesome nanny Aimee will be moving back home to Texas here in a few weeks so we are back to the drawing board on the nanny front. She was amazing and really made my transition into working easier then I thought it would be, replacing her will be beyond a challenge.

Here are some pictures from our time at the beach!

Estef and Harry
Daddy and Luca playing outside
Playing at the beach house
Maw maw enjoying Connor's nerf gun (looks like a lot more then he is :)
Racing on the beach (love Luca's wind blown hair)

This is his typical smile these days
First time playing on the beach...she loved it of course and ate plenty of sand

Finally...

I seriously can not believe how big he is getting

Sun!! We had a great weekend filled with World Cup, bbqing and playing outside. Gia was hilarious her first time in a swimming pool, she keep going in head first (such a contrast from Luca) he felt it was "too cold" and barely played in the water. We couldn't get Gia out of the pool, I am constantly amazed by how different they are. Nonetheless we had a pretty perfect weekend!
